When will my order ship?

A large majority of orders are shipped within 3 to 5 working days of placing the order and delivered in 7 to 15 working days from shipping depending on location and size of order. We ship on business days from Monday to Friday, during business hours only. Our shipping and delivery lead times vary by destination.

How will my order ship?

​

We ship through best-in-class courier delivery services, and you can track your order online after it is shipped. To ensure that your order reaches you in time and in a safe condition, we only partner with established courier companies of good repute. If we are unable to deliver any items in your order, be assured that you will not be charged for that item, and if you have already paid, then you shall be refunded the full amount charged for the item. All items in your order may or may not be shipped together. Kindly allow a delay of 2 to 3 days in shipping and delivery, due to possible unforeseeable circumstances. If we are not able to ship your order within 7 working days of placing the order, we send you an email informing you about the reason behind the delay. Reasons may include unavailability of stock, time taken to manufacture a product for you from scratch, etc. Based on your feedback, we may either extend shipping time or cancel the order. Payment, if made by the customer, would be refunded in accordance with the costs incurred in ensuring the availability of the product. Please note all products (including gifts) will be shipped with an invoice mentioning the price and the required taxes as per Indian rules and regulations.

 

We are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes. All items will be shipped only to a valid address with pin codes.

Warranty Policy

​

Warranty on the products shall be applicable for 7 days only. Once you received the delivery of the product. Please check if there is any damages during in transit like dents or crack and any fabric parts are torn out damaged.

Please immediately report to us back with a picture and the defects notices, with the invoice and payment proof, so that can get the product replaced to you. To avail of our limited warranty, please email us thestarstores@gmail.com and the concerned representative will get in touch with you. All manufacturing defects will be repaired in a minimum of 21 days to a maximum of 60 days from the date of receipt.

No claim shall be entertained after seven days of the receipt of the product.

  • Customized and Personalized products can neither be exchanged nor returned.

  • Returned items must have receipts & tags still on and must be returned in original packaging.

  • Please have the product(s) maintained in its original condition, else we will not accept the pickup.

  • Please note that you have 7 days only to check for compatibility and anything else.

Warranty is void in the following scenarios: 

  • Damages due to natural wear and tear of the product, on usage, over a period of time.  

  • Damages caused by misuse (such as transportation of unusual items), neglect, accidents, abrasion, exposure to extreme temperatures, solvents, acids, water, normal wear and tear, or transport damage (by airlines, for example)  

  • Replacement/repair of carrying bags.  

  • Powder coating, Zinc plating, wood finish on frames, channels, and all other metallic surfaces.  

  • Damages such as zip bursts, cracks, dents, and scratches on any of the components, tearing of inner lining, or any other fabric.  

  • Damages from mishandling in transit by the carrier agency.

  • Repairs performed by anyone other than an Authorized Repair Agent

Exchange, Return & Refund Policy

 

Returns will only be accepted from products purchased from thestarstores.com. For products purchased through other marketplaces, please contact them directly for an exchange or a return.

The liability for damages shall be restricted only to repair/replacement of the defective piece and, under no circumstances, shall it exceed the price paid (after discounts, if any) by the customer to the Company for the damaged piece, as stated in the purchase invoice.

Any disputes arising out of the applicability/usage of this warranty card are subject to Chandigarh jurisdiction only.

Returns.

​

While we strive to serve as many customers as we can, the reverse pick-up as a facility for some of the remote locations is currently unavailable. But be rest assured that we are working towards it. In the interim, you can dispatch the product back to us after having received a return authorization from our support team, and we will initiate the refund once we have received the product and the quality check parameters are in place.

Why was my return request declined?

 

If a return requested product does not meet the criteria mentioned in our Returns Policy, then we're forced to decline the request to return the product.

Can I return my order through Self-shipment?

​

Yes, you can. In case your return mode is “Self-Ship”, please ensure that the product is shipped and delivered within 15 days from the date of return initiated, post which the return would be cancelled. Please ensure that the item must be included along with the copy of invoice and delivery slip with original packing. Additionally, we would request you to mail a snapshot of your courier slip to thestarstores@gmail.com

Typically, returns are not applicable on discounted products & Similar Promotions.

Returned items with damages caused due to negligence, improper usage or application are not covered under this return policy.
